Rogue (5 out of 7)

My schedule has been so hectic this past month and add to that two weeks down with a sickness and I wasn't able to get much artwork at all. Thankfully my time has freed up now that I'm on my break, and it was the perfect opportunity to finally get on and finish the fifth piece of this shot, which is none other than everyone's favourite southern belle, Rogue!

I had a little trouble deciding what costume to go with especially since I haven't drawn her yet in her iconic 90's outfit, but I opted to follow the theme I've gone with the other four characters and chose Rogue's most recent outfit which she now wears in Uncanny Avengers. I loved how Olivier Copiel drew this outfit on her, and I wanted to focus on the simplicity of the costume, with only a white line down the middle and her loose belt to break up the dominant greens. The boots turned out nice and shiny too, and the color palette all turned out to mesh pretty well together in the end. For her facial expression I went with a happier expression as compared to all the others I've done before, and I put extra work in making her hair a little curlier than the others to set her apart from the rest.

I'm looking forward to finishing this group shot once and for all now that I'm on my break and that there's only two more to go before this can be wrapped up, and I hope you're all as excited as I am with how this is all turning out! I'm really pleased with how this Rogue came out, especially when compared to my past drawing of her which was about two years ago! Good to see there's a bit of improvement, and here's hoping to further improvement in the future!
