Dazzler (7 out of 7)

Finally here we are with the last piece of this set! It's quite a funny story actually, I had a little trouble deciding who my last X-Woman was gonna be, and I was juggling characters like Polaris, X-23, and even Mystique around, and eventually I ended up working on Magik. Unfortunately it didn't look right at all when I put them all together so I decided I needed someone who could add more colour and character to the piece, and from there I decided that the final piece of the set would be everyone's favourite mutant pop sensation, Dazzler!

What I liked with drawing Dazzler was that I got to work on someone who radiated with energy, and I made the most of that with the rich blue colours I chose for her costume and her golden locks which i set apart from Emma's more white-blonde hair colour. Her facial expression is a cute smile to show just the tiniest bit of emotion in her part, and her demure posture sitting atop the couch not only helps give her character, but adds dimension to the final group shot especially after putting them all together. I opted for her classic blue outfit as opposed to her white disco costume and her modern (horrible) outfit to help add more blues to the final group shot, and I must say it's looking good so far.

I'm so relieved to finally be done with all seven characters, and I only need to refine the background a little bit before I finally upload the final piece! Hopefully I'll be able to upload it in coordination with the new X-Men film coming out this week, but for now I hope you all enjoy Ms. Blaire!
